Goodbye, Lucy

Today is a very sad day.
I came out to feed early this morning, and our sweet Lucy was gone. She was 30 years old. I had the pleasure of loving this sweet girl for almost two years. At 7:30 PM she was fine and was gone within 12 hours. Her buddy Cowboy sure is missing her. I'm putting one of my older mares who recently went blind in with him tonight. Lucy came so far from a bag of bones to looking fabulous, I guess it was just her time.
Run free, sweet girl. I’ll take care of Derby for you. She was his mama. Tell Earl I sure do miss him.
